When will CreditU be available?
CreditU will be available late fall 2023 on iOS devices. CreditU will be available on Android devices winter 2023.
What is the app going to do? What are the main features?
Help monitor credit score, track spending, set and track progress towards financial goals, personalized financial education resources, view key financial metrics including net worth, debt-to-income ratio, etc.
What type of accounts can I connect to?
Checking, savings, credit cards, loans
How much does it cost?
There will be a free version of the app, but there will also be premium features. Cost of premium features will be announced soon.
Is my personal financial information secure in the app?
CreditU uses top-level encryption to ensure that your data is safe. We take security extremely seriously.
Is CreditU available in multiple languages?
Not yet, CreditU will be available in English only when it launches. We may have a Spanish version available at a later date.
Can I share access to CreditU with my partner or family members?
CreditU accounts are meant for individuals, so if you want to share access with your partner or family members, you will have to give them your login credentials.
How is CreditU different from all the other finance apps out there? Can I dump my other finance apps and use CreditU as a replacement?
CreditU is a one-stop-shop for all your personal finance needs. Other finance apps often focus on one specific aspect of personal finance, like budgeting or paying off debt. Does CreditU offer tools to help me reduce debt or improve my credit score?
Yes, CreditU was created by American Consumer Credit Counseling, so users will be able to enroll in a debt management program if needed. CreditU also offers personalized financial education resources tailored to your specific financial needs, empowering you to take the steps you need to pay off debt and/or improve your credit score.
